Who operates Max Layer

Max Layer is operated by Manyfold Labs GmbH, Waldweg 16, 23795 Bad Segeberg, Germany. Contact: max@manyfoldlabs.com. Company details are available in our Imprint.

Using the platform

Max Layer provides educational articles, interactive examples and learning features. Some features require an account. Keep your account details accurate, protect your sign-in credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, infringe others’ rights or upload unlawful content.

Educational content and AI

Materials are provided for learning and may contain errors or become outdated. Test examples in an appropriate environment before using them in production. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate; review their outputs independently. No particular learning, employment or technical result is guaranteed.

Content and licences

Unless stated otherwise, content and software are owned by Manyfold Labs GmbH or the relevant rights holders. You may access the materials for their intended learning purpose. Separate licences attached to code or other materials take precedence for that material. Statutory rights, including lawful quotation, remain unaffected.

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us the permissions necessary to store and process it to provide the requested features. Do not submit content you have no right to share.

Availability and account access

Features may change or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and offer a way to contact us.

Paid services

Any future paid offer will state its price, scope, billing arrangements and applicable cancellation or withdrawal information before purchase. These general terms do not replace mandatory consumer information or specific terms supplied with an offer.

Liability and statutory rights

We remain liable as required by applicable law, including for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence in a material contractual obligation, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer and other statutory rights remain unaffected.

Privacy, applicable law and changes

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of the law of their habitual residence.

We may update these terms for future use. Changes to existing contractual rights require a valid legal basis and any notice or agreement required by law. For questions, contact max@manyfoldlabs.com.
